How it all started
Every journey has a beginning. Mine started in January of 2016 when I purchased my first DSLR camera as a way to escape the rigor of my undergraduate civil engineering courses. What started off as a creative outlet quickly turned into a passion for travel and visual storytelling.

My love for travel didn’t start in undergrad. Since I was a child, I’ve always had a deep curiosity for exploring different places, cultures, languages, cuisine, architecture, and stories that shape each destination. This was further fueled by watching shows like Parts Unknown, Searching for Italy, and many other shows on the travel channel. Raised the Washington, D.C. area where history and culture are very prominent, this blog is where I bring it all together: photography, storytelling, and an overall passion to discover the beauty of destinations near and far.
